Maria e Luca si sono lasciati da un anno e mezzo... Da quando si sono lasciati, non si parlano più nonostante essersi promessi il contrario. 
Luca è riuscito a dimenticare molto velocemente la relazione con Maria, ma per Maria, Luca fa ancora parte del suo cuore.  I due ragazzi frequentano la stessa scuola, ma in classi e in sezioni diverse. Luca è in quinta e Maria è in seconda. Maria spera che Luca riesca a passare l'esame di maturità, così secondo lei riesce a dimenticarlo una volta per tutte. Così passa l'anno scolastico e arriva l'estate. Maria viene rimandata in due materie e riesce a passarle... Luca invece ha l'esame di maturità...
