Anya Sephira is a vampire who has been roaming the Earth for over a century now. She's everything that is to be expected of a vampire - breathtakingly gorgeous, mysterious, sensual, frightening, and most definitely stubborn. The creature is vicious, deadly, and a complete threat to the city of New York. It is something that needs to be stopped and the police hope she will be able to help. 
Then there's also the presence of two new individuals who will do nothing but complicate things for her... as well as stir up emotions she hasn't felt in a long time. 

Will she be able to solve the case? And who are these two presences that have wiggled their way into her undead life?
