Drink up~ the loneliness. Broken.~ Crushed.~ Shattered.~ Torn.~ Explore my deepest.. We have to lose grip and lose ourselves to realise things, accept the changes even if it takes someone so precious to let go and break you in pieces I remember being once a teenager and thinking I had no one to speak to. Anthology Of Love(Poetry Collection)
Greetings dear readers! This is my first ever poems book. And um I wrote these all based on my personal experiences. As you may journey through chapters of this book based on my life and events throughout. A little sprinkle of the chapters are fictional but nearly all are non-fiction straight from reality. Hopefully you will love this journey with me. Few of these poems are dedicated to my friends or based on their experiences/point of view. Most poems may contain heartbreak or sad feelings but still the majority of the poems are about love, happiness and positivity. I am so glad that I am in a better place now, looking back on my life just a while ago I was not the person I am today. With the help of people I love the most I have overcome everything I needed to dodge. If you are going through something difficult in life, please share it with someone whom you trust more than anything. Remember being happy & positive is what matters the most truly. Red isn't always romance, sometimes it's blood, Moon isn't always for lovers, but sometimes for secret cries, Flowers aren't always for marriage, but sometimes for grave, Petals aren't always soft, sometimes they prick the soul. No plagiarism/No hatred plz. Also some things might contain mature contents like self harm. I want to say those kinds of suicidal poems are not to inspire anyone to self harm. Excerpt: "I am everything: The autumn winds easing the leaves away from their branches, A baby's smile at daddy's funny face, The tears that seep into the soil at a funeral, A heavy snowfall on Christmas Eve. I am a hug: Offered only during times of sadness, Never given often enough. I am a mirror: Reflecting the moods of those in my surroundings Or the inanimate objects that remain once all have gone home. I am a microphone: Echoing the opinions of those around me, Telling the truths of all, but only being accepted by one. I am a shell: Full of the many memories of yesterday, Unable to grasp anything today. I am a skeleton: Stripped away of any feeling, After everyone has taken a piece. I am nothing: Not a firefighter, Thanked for saving the family pet. Not a lover, Dearly missed by her significant other. Not a role model, Written about for a second grader's project.
