Days of Darkness; that's what it means. While I don't personally believe it to be too relevant, 'you' won't know until you start reading, will you? You might prove me wrong...
The point is, I've forgotten. I've forgotten everything; and yet the memories are right there. I could look at them - I could understand everything - whenever I wanted. But then again, they're not exactly mine, are they?

The child had left this husk of a thing to me, whether willingly or not, and I will make use of it however it is that I see fit.
