Too Nice
There is nothing wrong with being nice. Go ahead and hold the door for the old lady. Nothing's stopping you from giving a dollar to the boy who wants candy. I won't judge if you drop a 10 dollar bill into the homeless man's cup. However Letting your boss walk all over you, and basically becoming his servant is Too Nice. Putting up with your ungrateful family and giving them money whenever they need it is Too Nice. Letting your boyfriend of 7 years live with you even though you know he's cheating on you is Too! Fucking! Nice! Amari Daniels doesn't get it. Everyone around her treats her like garbage. She thinks this is normal. There comes a time in everyone's life when they are faced with a difficult choice. For most people, following your instincts is easy. You know what to do, and you know what not to do. The Monster seems to only be interested in Maria and targets her specifically, She has no clue as to why it's haunting her, no, hunting her, but she's determined to find out and put a stop to it before it can send the grim reaper her way.
