Book 1 of the Stardust Series (I wrote this book sooooo many years ago lol no edits. Just vibes. I've decided to keep it here on wattpad as is. Maybe I'll edit and rewrite it one day. But this story was such a joy to write, during a time that was so dark for me. Anywho, happy reading and thank you all who have been here since the beginning) Freak? Weirdo? I've heard them all. What do you expect when you tell people you can see color surrounding them? That has been my life for as long as I can remember. Seeing auras and learning their meanings. My mother calls it a gift, I call it a curse, because she doesn't know that seeing auras is only the tip of the iceberg. She doesn't know that I can touch them. She doesn't know that the colors show me things. I'm starting college and I'm determined to have a normal college experience but life throws me yet another curve ball and it all begins with Dalton Shepherd... but that's only the beginning. He was sent to kill a threat. He brought her back instead. Now the Veil is shifting-and something buried is starting to wake. Nimya was supposed to be collateral. A mortal girl, found near a supernatural breach and marked by a scent not quite human. Commander Ryn of the Sentinarchs-god-born, oath-bound, and feared even by his own-should've followed protocol. Instead, he dragged her across the Veil. Now bound to a divine soldier she doesn't trust, Nimya finds herself trapped inside the Sanctum-a sacred fortress of rituals, relics, and bloodlines that see her as a threat. But something else sees her too. When Ryn touched her, the Veil stirred. Something ancient is watching from the other side. Something chained beneath the world-restless, patient, and searching for someone. As divine politics fracture and the Sanctum begins to turn, Nimya must survive a realm built to reject her... and a bond that was never meant to form. Because if the Veil falls, what's trapped beneath it won't stay buried. And gods will burn before it stops looking.
