Peppermint Tea

"Welcome to The Grind!" Deku calls out cheerfully, looking up from his notebook with a bright smile. He freezes, however, when he locks eyes with the customer.

Tall and slender, with red and white hair and a large scar covering his left eye. Deku gaped, feeling heat rise in his cheeks as the man walked towards him. He had no problems with keeping steady eye contact, much to Deku's chagrin and delight. Trailing behind him was an older woman, who he assumed was a family member due to the similar appearances. Interesting. Deku would definitely sketch the two of them out in his journal later.

The boy stopped in front of the register and Deku stood up straight, smiling despite the heat filling his cheeks. He was keenly aware of the eyes- heterochromatic, he noted- trained on his face.

"What can I get for the both of you today?" He asked with his usual bright smile, he couldn't forget himself because of a cute guy!

That was before said cute guy spoke.

"I'll have a medium hot peppermint tea, please." His voice was soft and low and, coupled with the eye contact that he had still not broken, Deku felt as if he was going to melt into a puddle onto the floor. Uraraka was going to have to mop up his remains, he decided.
