Meg Kataoka est une élève comme les autres, si on enlève le fait qu'elle soit en 3e E du lycée Kunugigaoka - c'est-à-dire la pire classe de l'établissement - et que son professeur principal soit un poulpe que toute la classe doit assassiner avant la fin de l'année scolaire...
Cependant, Kataoka se réveille en sursaut dans la salle de classe après avoir fait un étrange rêve. Depuis ce jour, la pauvre collégienne se trouve mêlée à une histoire beaucoup plus complexe qu'elle n'aurait pu imaginer, et doit résoudre tous les mystères qui l'entoure si elle espère un jour pouvoir retourner à sa vie d'origine.
