First off if you're looking for a book where the nerdy girl somehow gets kidnapped by the hot bad boy gang leader, this is the wrong book. Now if you want to read the truth of what any sensible person would do in a kidnapping situation, read on.

Reyna Cruz was an average girl. She wasn't super popular but not an outcast. She lived with both of her non-abusive parents and had a small group of friends she cherished. She lived what could have been potentially a normal life if not for the unfortunate event that caused her to run into Carmelo Rodriguez, the local gang leader known for trouble. 

Through their odd encounter, Reyna  finds herself tangled in the affairs of the local gangs. Her main goal: trying to stay alive.
