Zwei Jahre später erkrankte ihre Mutter an Brustkrebs, sie überstand jedoch sehr gut. Doch dann der Shock! Vier Jahre nach dem der Krebs geheilt war, kehrte er wieder zurück, nur viel aggressiver. Skyes Mutter überlebte es nicht. Skye zog zu ihrer Tante Luise und ihrer Cousine Hailey (13) nach Tennessee (USA) auf ihren Reiterhof. Die Geschichte spielt sechs Jahre nach dem tot von Skyes Mutter.

This story starts when Amy should be celebrating being 22 years old, but Ty thinks back to when Amy was 18 years old and how they lost her 4 weeks before her 19th Birthday, and that's when the Fleming and Bartlett Family completely fell apart.
