Teighan Summers is not your average girl.

Between getting over the tragic death of her father and her brother, trying to navigate a new school, and taking care of her mom, Teighan's life is a chaotic mess.

But there is one thing that she is looking forward to, her only escape from her messy life; softball. Teighan has played softball her old life and couldn't imagine living life without it.

But when she arrives at her new school and learns that there isn't a softball team, she is left with two options: try to make a softball team out of the girls who have never played before and have no desire to, or join the boys baseball team.

To Teighan, the answer is simple. But when the boys are not very accepting (especially green-eyed hottie and captain of the team, Jordon Brooks) and Teighan learns that a baseball is way different than a softball, Teighan might just have to face never playing her game ever again.

Will Teighan hit a home run, or will she strike out?

Danielle Martin isn't a typical girl in high school. She doesn't wear tight clothes or pounds of makeup, she isn't popular and isn't really a big fan of all the attention. Books and Netflix are her Friday nights, staying home and eating sweets and junk. She's small and vulnerable, shy because she doesn't have the life everyone thinks she does. But that all changes... Now, Blake Daniels is a stereotypical high school guy. Captain of the football team, unbearably attractive, and one of the most popular guys to walk the school. To anyone else, his life is amazing. But to him, it sucks. Family issues and lost battles leave him weak and vulnerable to the ones who want to break him more. But that also all changes... Will their newfound love save them from the struggles they face? Can they survive with all the drama and rumors being thrown at them? It all comes down to one thing in the end. Can they make it together?
