It's senior year of high school, and Adana Deligna just moved towns... again. She's determined that this time was going to be different. she wants to live a normal life, and stay under the radar. Unfortunately for her, Schanliy High is really not making that easy for her...it's right smack in the middle of a rich neighborhood, and you know what that means; Schanily High is a playground for the mean, snobby bullies of Virginia. Somehow, Adana gets the attention of The Liberators, a mysterious group of boys with a secret. Adana is in way over her head- or is she? There's a lot about her that doesn't make sense; and a group of over dramatic, violent teens have nothing on this new girl... Sorry if it offends, but whatever is in this book, it's the character saying it, NOT ME! Please remember that. It can also get pretty dark at times- just to forewarn!

Was it fate that brought Addilynne to the little sea side town (or just a little, old book store). Whatever it was, her life was forever changed when she met Braxton, the town bad boy. Despite his raging temper, Addilynne feels herself being drawn to him. But when his troubled past comes back to haunt them (in the form of the local gang, The Joe Boys), Addilynne will find herself face to face with facts she may not be willing to accept. Will Brax's past be the thing to tear them apart...or bring them closer together? ----------------------------------------------------------------- Excerpt from chapter 4: "Help me?" He says and closes the space between us. He grabs onto my arm. My breath catches and I glance down at his surprisingly gentle fingers. "Addilynne, you couldn't have helped me. The Joe Boys wouldn't have eased up and wouldn't have cared that you're a girl. They would have thrown you up against the wall and beaten you right along side me." He lets his hand slide the rest of the way down my arm, leaving a trail of fire behind it. He completely lets go and softens his voice with his next words, "If the Joe Boys are going to hurt anyone in this town, it shouldn't be you. It deserves to be me." --------------------------------------------- Book Cover Art by YourBestNightmare (check her out-she's very talented)
