Charles Bukowski once said to find what you love and let it kill you, let it drain you of your all, let it cling onto your back and drag you down into eventual nothingness. In my belief there is nothing anyone should do more, because we seek, and we grab, and we never get enough, some people search their whole lives looking for something to break their hearts and kill them slowly, but I didn't have search that long. My name is Katherine, and i'm going to skip the part where i pretend you want to know all the details about me because this isn't a One Direction fanfiction and none of you honestly care. I have no interest in becoming owner of a small kingdom or have people bow down in awe once I tell them my story I just want to inspire you. I've seen too much bad and if I can do someone some good then so be it. I would like to tell you this is the story of how I began the strongest person I know and how I realized I gained so much from life but if I wrote that in this description I would be most honestly lying. This is the story of how I lost everyone I loved and fell so far from good that I didn't think i would ever learn to breathe again, how I got my heart broken and realized that in life nothing will ever work out the way that you are begging it to. Anyways Lets get on with it. Falsely Yours, Katherine.

A musically talented teen with her sights set on the spotlight must find a way to get her life back when she falls in with the mob. ***** In a city where con artists make the rules and aspiring females wear sequins and dance with a pole, Melody Holiday refuses to ride on the coattails of her semi-famous grandfather. She wants the freedom to choose her own path to showbiz greatness. When a chance meeting with a handsome stranger provides Mel with an opportunity, she thinks she's landed the big one. But her grandpa isn't thrilled with the direction Mel's career is going, and it's not until she stumbles across something she probably shouldn't have that this becomes clear. Perhaps meeting the stranger with the Rocky Balboa eyes wasn't by chance. Maybe Mel is rubbing elbows with the kind of people who could take away her freedom for good. This story is loosely based on the author's feral youth. So, if you like your fiction shaken not stirred with a sprinkle of badboy on the rim, NEON GIRL delivers the goods; giving readers a dose of drama, a dash of romance, and a heaping helping of Las Vegas schmaltz. Oh, and there's a killer playlist, too. WATTYS WINNER! LEGAL DISCLAIMER: This is a work of fiction and owned by the author.
