"Please come back to me.'' I whispered, my fists balled, resting my chin on them. I stared at his face, his pale, pale face. 

"Please come back Ash." I feel a tear fall down my face. Hes already been out for three months as of today. 

13 weeks. 91 days. 2,191 hours. 131,487 minutes.  

And its all my fault.

Luke and Ashton have been best friends. They are in a band, they have nice lives, and they have a special bond. 

Then the incident happened. Ashton was rushed to the hospital. Luke, Calum, and Michael all knew what happened.   

After three months of Ashton not waking up, Michael and Calum think its time to give up. Time to move on. Luke does not. He asks for 100 more days. Then if he still isn't awake, then they can give up.   

But he believes Ash will wake up.

Ashton is okay right now. He's always like this after a bad bout. He starts off saying that the world is his oyster and he loves everyone, but when the energy and fresh success fades, so does he. Luke knows. He knows about all of Ashton's problems. He knows about the time Ashton was bullied nearly to the brink, the family deaths and friend losses, and the ups and downs, the latter of which seem to be more common lately. It's been so easy lately for Ashton to slip after a joke gone wrong, or a jab on Twitter. Ashton always says he's sorry, repeating it again and again if only to convince himself. Luke knows he's sorry, knows that he can't help it. And he'll sit by the bathtub for hours, holding Ashton, to make sure that he knows someone loves him. None of the other boys know. Ashton couldn't bring himself to tell them and face their disapproving stares too, and he wouldn't let Luke tell them, so he's stuck in this half state of secrecy and confession to Luke. Ashton hasn't gone too far yet, not far enough that Luke can't patch him up with gauze, antibiotics, and a long hug. But someday, someday, Luke knows Ashton won't be able to take it anymore, and Ashton will die. And Luke will be all alone.

"Michael," he whimpered, not being able to speak more than a word at a time. His eyes watered but he tried so hard to blink back his tears and joined Cal, holding his hand. "And I'm Luke," I mimicked Mikey and walked over to where all three of them stood, and without my consent, I let the tears fall. I clutched on to Mikey's hand for dear life as if he would disappear any second. "And we were 5 Seconds of Summer," we spoke up and bowed in unison, our last concert coming to a final end. Although, on the inside, I couldn't help but think this isn't the way it's supposed to be. + + + + + But what happens next is unexpected. On the way home, Luke gets in a car accident and the flames swallow him and his screams as a whole. What is left behind are his mere ashes. But when he wakes up, he's a ghost now and his dreams are on fire.
