Dla dorosłych
Fall semester. 1997. At a strange Southern college, freshman Tim's eerily prescient Student Handbook tells him he's going to fall in love with 6'6" sophomore Joanie. But Joanie has more important things to deal with than a weird crush - like a creepy English professor, a hallucinogenic drug that's chipping away at her sanity, and a war between rival secret societies that could destroy the University before Tim and Joanie find out if their love is real, or just fiction.

Recommended if you like: impossible architecture, books that can tell the future, made-up games with overcomplicated rules, portentous graffiti, secret codes, first love, intense hallucinations, 80s and 90s pop culture, a world that's just a couple degrees off from reality, and a coming-of-age story set in a manufactured community that lets you try on different possible futures - aka college.

New chapters of The Boy in the Tunnel post every Friday.

Killian had been away in California for two long years, but now he was back in his hometown of Nevada. His best friend Bree was about to start her freshman year of college, and he had promised to pick her up from her parents' house. Killian was surprised to see a beautiful woman waiting for him instead of the awkward, dorky girl he remembered from two years ago. The moment their eyes met, Killian could feel his heart racing. He couldn't believe how much Bree had changed and couldn't help but feel drawn to her. As time passes, the two best friends start to fall in love with each other. But through a video call, Bree caught Killian in bed with another woman, and she leaves him. Killian is devastated. He had lost the love of his life-his best friend, and he didn't know how to go on without her. For months, Killian was self-destructive and lost. He tried to forget about Bree, but he couldn't. Killian knew he couldn't live without her, and eventually, he realized that he had to make things right. This novel explores their relationship and how they navigate their feelings for each other, and the challenges of trying to turn a friendship into something more. Psycho Killer

13 części Opowieść Zakończona Dla dorosłych

Can a person be broken before they are forced to break? Nine film students. Two months. One supervisor. The entirety of their college to themselves. This is the opportunity they can't afford to jeopardize. With such a limited timeline, there's no room for relationship mishaps or the strange occurrences that begin three days in. If they're going to create the ticket to their dreams, they're going to need to focus. Together, they'll work to remain in one piece, mind, body, and spirit. However, that task is easier scripted than filmed. When the odd events become more and more personal, it feels like someone might want to see them break. With each other as their alibi, a daunting realization kicks in. They may not be as alone as they once thought. The psycho killer in the creepy mask confirms the theory. Will this group of creatives come out the other side with a masterpiece, or will they end up as the stars in their own true crime documentary?
