Dawn Everhart has been picking up the broken pieces of peoples lives for years. With an ability to see directly into people's souls, and read their future, she has brought hope to Claireveiw since the day her mother died.

But looking after a bunch of people is exhausting- especially when they threaten her exposure to the real world when she doesn't. So when Dawn suddenly finds her front porch cascaded with light, feathery blue petals one morning, she can't believe her eyes- or how alive she suddenly feels with them in her hands.

When everything in Dawn's life comes crashing down when a secretive government facility comes hunting after her to destroy the one thing they fear most, Dawn is forced to flee the safety of Claireveiw. Escape is necessary, and as time goes on, Dawn starts to run out of ideas... that is, until a dark, handsome man finds her hiding place and shows up on her doorstep with the same glowing eyes as the colour of the lotus petals. After a few moments with him, Dawn is forced to make a decision... follow him... or disappear forever into the hands of the government.

Even if Dawn does accept the boys hand, the government has her picture...

And they will stop at nothing to have her...
