An old fashioned Story... A White Girl named Winnie and her Family move out to a small nearby rural countryside town called Sunny Ville. Winnie came from an all girls boarding school, and her parents do not except Black people into they're family or around they're community, only (what they class as) they're own kind of people. They don't approve of her dating anyone other than who they approve of, and they definitely can't be black. Michael is a young man who works at the Local Organic Fruit & Veg stop in the Town Centre of Sunny Ville in Mr Sail's Shop, they sell everything from Organic Juices, Fruit & Veg, Nuts and Seeds, even Homemade Bread. Winnie's Mother always goes down to the Local Shop for her produce with Winnie by her side. She won't let her tread into the town alone, as she wants to protect Winnie and keep her safe, making sure she behaves and doesn't step out of line. Winnie hates feeling trapped and having to go everywhere with her Mother, or take a private horse and cart to school, that takes her straight there and back everyday. She feels like a prisoner. Michael want's to break her out of her shell, and show her the World she is missing out on. During this time, it was unacceptable for Black and White to mix and if you were ever seen with each other, trouble would be brewing in the Town, and everyone would stare and despise on you. Mr Sail is a White man too, who agrees that Black and White people are fine to mix amongst each other. But he just pretends to the Town that he doesn't approve, and keeps Michael as his lower assistant worker when actually they get on so well, just so the Town wouldn't ridicule Mr Sail. Winnie and Michael laid eyes on each other when Winnie's Mother first went into the Local shop for dinner. That's where it began...

Angie snapped, as the graffiti covered trains roared by. "What do you see in me, anyway? I'm like any other black girl on the street!" "You really want to know what I see in you, Angela?" Austin spoke up. "I see a woman, a beautiful, smart, caring woman, with a fine sense of humor and with a good soul. That's what set you apart from all other women, not just black women that I have crossed paths with in my lifetime," he said. Tears threatened to form in Angie's eyes at his words. "Well, I'll have you know, Austin, that I am a grown woman, I'm not afraid of anything," Angie retorted with bravado. "Oh? So then why do you keep pushing me away?" Austin asked coldly. Instantly my face becomes straight in dead seriousness as I clear my throat."You shouldn't be seen with me anyways." Arching his beautiful eye brows you could tell he was generally confused, almost like he wasn't aware of the rules. "Why not?" Noah questioned. "Oh, come on don't pretend you don't notice I'm black!" "I'm fully aware that you're black, but that doesn't tell me why I can't be seen with you!" Sighing as I rolled my eyes I explain. "Certain folks around here don't take to kindly when our people mingle!" "Oookkkaaayyy-who cares what certian people around here thinks?" Shaking my head as I rolled my eyes once again, he just didn't get it."Look, I've seen what happens when certain people catches guys like you, talking to girls like me, I don't know you all that well, but no one deserves that type of beating." "I don't like being told who I can and can't be interested in." "Nobody does." In this love story Scarlett a black woman unintentionally goes against the social norms when she falls in love with Noah a white man in a town that is permanently stuck in the 1950's segregation in the south type era, only thing is, its not the 1950's, it 2018.
