Erique, a ruthless vampire, is on the brink of declaring war with the humans. He's tired of seeing his people killed by humans because of their mere fear of his kind. Erique is known to be merciless with his enemies and especially those who side with the humans and try to come on his land. 

That's where Dani comes in. She's the daughter of an Alpha and takes pride in protecting the humans from the vampires, especially King Erique. Even though Dani has never met Erique, she holds a deep burning passion of hate for him. He has killed many Shifters and humans and that doesn't settle well with her.

When Dani hears the rumor of King Erique possibly going to war with the humans, she takes matters into her own hands. Dani brings several of the pack's strongest fighters to King Erique's land, without her Father's knowing.
