The people above 35 are so afraid it will strike them, that they cast out all people below the age of 15, but when you reach the age of 15 you can finally come inside the walls, that separate them from the rest of the world.

The people with the new blood type are said to be able to be resistant to most high falls, and also are stronger than the average human being. They are now capturing people with the new blood type, blood type AE positive. You just happen to be one of those people with the rare blood and you drive in an attempt to escape the clutches of the Obelus.
