A young hunter accompanies a seamstress on her quest to join her grandmother in the mountains for a religious ritual. However, as they approach their destination, he begins to suspect something is wrong...

The second of three short stories I wrote for my creative writing class in the fall of 2017 (and my personal favorite). Serves as a broad-strokes prequel to Crescent (upcoming).
