Katie is, well was a normal girl. Then people died, got lost, eaten, and committed suicide. Close people. Katie was strong though and scared. She wasn't afraid of dying. She was afraid of what comes after.
Carl grimes. He is tough and solid. He wasn't going to let anyone close to him. He's even been trying to distance himself from his own family. He's lost to many and didn't want to care anymore. He wanted to die ,and do what ever comes after death.
