August and Isis have known each other since elementary school. They have been best friends until the beginning of 9th grade when Isis and her little sister who was 3 years old at the time had to move to live with her aunt and her cousin. Since her Mother, Father and Brother died in Hurricane Katrina year of 05. Every since then August hasn't seen her and can only remember her as his bestfriend Isis.
