19 year old Amy Wright Carter lives in Sydney Australia. You may see her and think she has the perfect life but it is anything but. When she was six her father passed away in a car accident. Amy was put in a orphanage with many others. There she meets Ana. Ana was 9 at the time. She came with her older brother Calum. Amy and Ana get alone almost immediately. When Amy was adopted she met him. Michael Clifford. Amy wasn't adopted until she was 15 . Michael met her at school and they become friends straight away. When Amy turns 18 Michael finally asked her on a date. This is where there rocky relationship starts. Michael is in a band and he is always partying and drinking. Amy has tried to stop him but it doesn't work. Michael never hits Amy, no he loves her too much to even do that in his drunken state, but he says things to her that no one should hear. Why doesn't she leave him? Simple. She loves him far to much to leave him. She still hopes she can help him.
