A chance meeting finds Derrick, reminding Mya of her dead fiancé, Maurice. He looks, walks, talks and even wears the same cologne fragrance as Maurice did.

Mya realizes that Derrick is her new soul mate, only he does not know it yet. She is intent on making sure that he does. She gets a membership at his gym and frequents his neighborhood grocery store.

On Valentines' Day, she follows him into the Odyssey Lounge , where love, sex, lies, and secrets collide, and nothing is as it seems.

In the chilly Chicago air, six souls stumble into Odyssey with their hearts in various forms of disarray. The only thing they have in common is the Mic. As each character takes the stage, their soul cries out in a beautiful symphony of deceit.

With fatal attractions exposed, infidelities brought to light, and former flames reigniting. This is Mya's story.
