This is a daily devotional I write using the scriptures to back up my thoughts on a daily basis through my life.
I am a 50 - year-old Christian (for the past 30 years) woman that has been living out of a hospital bed in my parent's living room for the past 8 years battling Multiple Sclerosis and a rare lung disease called Pulmonary Artery Hypertension for the past 13 years.
I put on my sandals daily, pick up my cross and follow closely behind Christ on this dusty road called life.

Family Comes First
Being alone? Check. Being afraid? Check. Being abused? Check times 3. Honestly, my life wasn't this bad before, not until I ended in foster care... SIKE! My life was always bad. From the moment I was born, I lived with an abusive father who blamed me for my mother's death, and even I couldn't disagree with him. It seems like just yesterday I was saved. Not knowing what to do next or where I should go. Little did I know all I had to do was dwell in his heart and he would provide me with the wisdom I need and show me the things I could only fantasize about. Things like these seemed to me too precious to keep hidden, and that's when I knew I just had to share Who He is to the whole world.
