Kass has no memory of her childhood. Her earliest memory is her brother leaving and never coming back. Now, she is being chased across the country by two magical warriors, who are after her own power. 
Ezra is bored. He has been stationed at an encampment for months, waiting for the day he will be called back to the fortress up north. Cursed with his own dark power, he will have to find the White Rose, a magical being who can bring life to others, to claim his birthright.
