A woman dealing with the loss of her lover. Getting into drugs, alcohol, and other self destructive behaviors. She refuses to go to rehab or see a therapist until many years after her lover passed, when she comes across a child who'd been abandoned. She couldn't just leave the child so she takes the baby boy home with her. Not knowing what to do she takes care of the child, eventually turning a new leaf to keep the child from being taken away into the foster system.
