Desperation, departure of hope, morbid trials, unfamiliar places, loss of control. "RESENTMENT" is about a large place called "Redpit Metropolis" which swallows countless lives of innocent, involuntary subjects on a regular basis in an agonizing fashion, but no one is aware of it, hence it's not being talked about. A few individuals gather their willpower and courage to work towards their great escape and bring the somber secrets to the light. More information included in the prelude.

It never forgives, it never forgets. Once you see it, you can never forget. Once it sees you, you can never escape. When someone dies in the grip of a powerful rage, a curse is born. The curse gathers in that place of death and becomes a "stain", and it cannot be contained. Once you encounter it, it will never let you go. Those who encounter it will be consumed by its fury. Those who survive will carry the curse with them to stain in the new place, and a new curse is born. A father kills his children, which causes a new curse under the influence of the curse he got from the cursed Saeki house. The newborn curse then spreads in the new place just like its predecessor did back in its origin. For those of you who are confused about this story, it is a loose sequel to the Japanese horror film, Ju-on: The Grudge 2 (2003), written by me. All chapters are told in non-chronological order as Takashi Shimizu did in the original series.
