This is a book full of exclusively Ivar Ragnarsson/Ivar the Boneless Short Stories. This book will certainly be leaning towards romance but obvious conflict. I consider myself a firey, rude and generally an awful person to be around SO my female characters are a bit feisty because I'm not about that Disney Princess life.
I already know that I'll be getting a lot of BS because of Ivar and Freydís having their 'moment'. I mean obviously I do not want a bunch of crap so let me say it clearly.
I know Ivar and Freydís are/were a couple.
There, I said it. Now hopefully no one will try and chew me out.

What if the legend of the nameless gods were true? Can there exist on earth a love so boundless that it reflects that of two deities? Ragnar, father of Ivar and his brothers, leads his children to a devastated village near Kattegat. Among the rubble of what remains of a house, little Ivar, only three years old, finds a baby girl still wrapped in swaddling clothes. She is taken to Kattegat, where she will grow up with the sons of Ragnar Lothbrok. But what fate awaits Ivar and the baby? Two best friends, bound by deep feelings, find themselves torn apart by betrayal: he betrays her, and she flees, helped by someone very close to Ivar.
