{Completed}   [previous title:  Shooting the Messenger]   Claire  is a college student who works for a messenger service part time.  She runs into trouble  when she  is hired to deliver a package, not knowing it is  a bloody message being delivered to a mobster from one of his enemies.  She walks into a deadly mess... 

Alarming symptoms have forced her to the Dr.'s office, where she was afraid to hear it might be serious.  It is.   

With no family to support her, mobsters watching her every move, and a frightening prognosis  she decides to take her grant and loan money for the next semester plus all her savings and book it to travel the world before she dies. 

Unknown to her, 2  men  have taken an interest in her.  Neither know of her health issues. 

One will risk his life for her.  
... The murderer will risk his heart.
