A Collection of Poems
These poems are just some of the little pieces that make up my life. Whenever I get inspired by someone or something, I write a little story about it in the form of a poem. In a way, it helps me express what I have in my mind in a very vague way. I'm not that kind of a direct person, but there are things that are sometimes, better to kept secret. Here, these poems are what I wanted to say to my friends, to other important people, to people in general, to the world around me, to life and each detail it possesses. Each poem has a central theme, and around that revolves a certain story that I want to impart, something too delicate to be expressed directly, something too complicated. "Forever," he said, "For Always. That's how long we will be best friends." "Not forever," I whisper to myself, a tear falling down my face, "Not for always. At Liam's funeral, AJ can't focus and she thinks about why she's sitting where she is. She thinks about cancer. She thinks about Liam. And she remembers. She remembers moments from the past.
