Walking in the halls of a new school has never been easy... especially if you don't dress to impress.
Valerie Vibe is a new senior in Mercury Prep High School. She just moved from Utah to California because her parents got divorced. Her mom was able to get her a scholarship to one of the best schools in California. If it wasn't for the scholarship, she definitely wouldn't be there considering the fact that her family barely has any money.
Valerie used to fit in and everyone loved her at her old school. When her parents got divorced, her dad got custody over her younger sister. Leaving Valerie with her 10 year-old brother, Xion. The divorce took a tole on her and now she doesn't want to exist in her new high school. She was just hoping she would stay in the shadows.
Micah Lo, the bad boy that every student wants or wishes to be, had taken an interest in her. For starters, she needed a new pair of shoes...
