The Way We Were

Nat ran away from the love of her life when he was fourteen years old, leaving her hometown in scandal. Now three years later she is forced to return to the life she'd left behind when her uncle is brutally beaten by an unknown enemy. She returns to help her uncle and to find his attacker but is met with the boy she let get away, southern society parties, and a flurry of town secrets instead. Caught in a web of lies and secrets, nothing is what it seems.
