Kuroko had distanced himself after the incident during his time at Teiko Junior High. Never has he felt so empty in his life, until the day he had met Seirin. His heart had begun to heal but in the end, it was shattered once more. Betrayed by the people who shed light into his once dull life. Kuroko had lost himself once again. He became cold and distant. Kuroko disappeared into thin air after the Winter Cup. No one knew where he had gone.

The Kuroko Tetsuya everyone knew was lost, gone. Replaced by a different person, or personality if you will.
