seeing the title in lowercase letters, will let you know how promises matter so little to some people. this story is inspired by a personal experience that i went through, being the person on the sidelines, and watching two souls crumble, one worse than the other. 

the protagonist of this story, jared, has to figure things out for his two best friends, who had been together for such a long stretch of time, but have recently broken up, knowing that he has to cut ties with one of them. 

he doesn't tolerate dishonesty, and when he finds out a pile of secrets, suffocating in betrayal, he makes a final decision. but is it the right one?All Rights Reserved
