Evanna lives in a world of death and destruction. It's been two years since the virus hit wiping out most of the population, but Evanna's Father had one last theory before the undead rose and took his life. What if the U.S. was the only country infected by the virus? Could the rest of the world be watching those in America perish? Evanna sets off with stranger Duncan, who may be more than he seems, to see if there is any hope for those still struggling to survive or if humanity is truly doomed.

One virus turned into two, which turned into four, and before they knew it, there were too many to prepare for. Each new strand mutated and became its own, new virus, and spread more easily than the first. The Walking Corpse virus was the deadliest one, the one that took everyone by surprise. Laura and her family had held up in their apartment until supplies ran out, forcing them outside for the first time since the virus took over. In a moment of chaos, Laura and her younger sister are forced away from their family. Trying to get back to their loved ones, Laura and her sister meet a military combat medic who claims he can help them. •The title may be foreshadowing • The book is inspired by All That's Left In The World by Erik J.
