"I will never let you win the trial, I am supposed to send misfits like you to prison!" She cried as the rain poured harder."

Oh, honey. You'll never send me to prison, you've broken the law too many times, it's too late to redeem yourself." He smirked, taking a step closer.

She shook her head, tears pouring down her face, refusing to admit her wrongdoing. "It's never too late. First thing tomorrow, I'll tell the truth, I'll tell them how you've been behind all of it." She shouted, stepping back.

He took another step forward and cupped her face, pulling her chest to chest, "It's too late, honey. You're corrupt. Completely corrupt. You let yourself join the ranks of the many lawyers and cops who preceded you, all of your own accord. I just gave you a little push."

She attempted to push him away, refusing to get close to him, but to no avail. "I'm not corrupt!"

He held her face tightly as he moved his lips within an inch of hers. "Face it, honey. You're corrupt, bent, damned, just like the rest of this two-bit town."

She pressed her forehead to his and let out a small sob, before calling out in a small voice, "I'm corrupt."

His lips spread into a bright grin, "What's wrong with a little corruption, baby?"
