A Fanmade Fictional Story Inspired by The Dragon's Soldier on AO3 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- "When the dragons "came out" to the rest of the world, nobody expected the resulting War that broke out between Humans and Beasts. Both sides afraid and suspicious of each other, Humans drove Dragons into slavery, imprisoning them and turning their children into weapons for the military. Forced into hiding, many Dragons disguised themselves as Human and kept their secrets locked away, awaiting for the day when the royal blood line long since vanished would once again reappear and lay waste to the Humans that oppressed them." ---Excerpt from The Dragon's Soldier by Twistedthicket1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nina, a freshly graduated forensics scientist has applied to be a part of the smaller branches of government. Simply put, an individual whom desired to put a stop towards the discrimination between man and beast. Though here she stands, reluctant to step foot into the facility that housed these angered beasts. Why? Simply because her commander within her unit had stated that any and all personnel whom worked under or for the government was required by law to have a dragon at their side. The forensics pathologist could only hope she could befriend her new partner in crime without become their next snack... Park Jinwoo remembered the day they tore into his home. Flashes of pain running down his spine as he felt pricks here and there. His basic need to fight back aflame as he tried desperately to push the intruders out of his home. The next, nothing but darkness. Though it was clear, the north eastern Asian dragon absolutely detested humans, and could not see the possibility of ever working beside one, let alone a small unit. But when things get awry in the states, could man and beast work side by side to put a stop to the inhumane crime underneath the country's government?
