Ever since I was little, I was raised and taught to help others. That it is better to give then to receive. And to help those in need. That's why I do anything. I can whenever I can to help others. I volunteer all the time. I was also taught that good things come to those who wait. After all that time volunteering, good did come to me...love came to me. This my story, how I found love and all the trials and tribulations we faced.

This story is for my little brother. He was the best man I ever knew, and he died too young. No, he didn't leave this life the way I tell it in this story (it is, after all, a work of fiction), but he might have had things played out a little differently than they did. Childhood sexual abuse is alive and well in America and the larger world as well. Rodney and I lived it, and that basic fact served as the seed that made this story possible. "I can't do this anymore; I just can't!" A line said in almost every individual's life. We all at one stage in our life dealt with such pain; where dying is easier then living. But, it's all a rollarcoaster that we have to fight through. I was once a shy, scared and sad little girl and now I'm a confident, compassionate and cheerful young lady. But, I wasn't always like this; at many stages I was extremely depressed. I know this seems like the stereotypical teenager's story but it was something much much more. Give my story a read and lets ride the rollarcoaster together. You never truly know what can impact you the most. It could be a book or even another person. Don't read this. Its an old story I keep to look back on and reminisce. This is a boy with both status and wealth, but that is not a life he wants. Instead he wants to be normal like everyone else.
