When Antonia is touring a breeding ground for genetically modified animals, the submarine breaks. Worst of all, it's in the shark exhibit, but,  there is a terrifying creature in the exhibit, usually dormant, that keeps the sharks in check. It's possible that this creature is responsible for the breaking the submarine. The submarine sinks to the bottom of the large tank.
