Alistair enjoys writing poetry despite his parents' disapproval of the feminity they believe it has. Still, he continues, and when he meets a boy, who his parents also disapprove of, he still continues. (I've written this before and it was really really bad, so let me know if it's still crap! The point of this poetry book thing is that it is dialogue, and it is written from the point of view of Alistair--what he wants to write about and what he personally feels at each given moment.)
