A Protector and A Hunter

Melia has lived with dragons ever since her father, Alvin the Treacherous, sent her away and she shipwrecked on a hidden island inhabited by dragons only at the age of five. Now, after fourteen years of protecting her island from dragon hunters, Melia finds a hunter on her island, close to death and being protected by a Skrill. Melia knows not to trust hunters, but when a dragon protects one, she's at a loss. Ignoring the wishes of the dragons she's lived with forever, Melia takes matters into her own hands and nurses the poor man back to health.

What will happen between dragon protector and dragon hunter once the man's back on his feet?

Will Melia force him to leave and never come back or will she allow him to stay, even after she learns of all the pain he's caused?

(Just to put it out there, this is my first public story, so just bear with me)
