I've tried to release this pain in so many different ways; But writing about you seems to be one of my faves. I don't understand how I find closure When I know it only lasts until the poem is over. "The Girl Who Outgrew Her Hurt" is my story in poems. I was the quiet girl with a soft heart, hard thoughts, and hidden pain. The one who smiled while healing, loved while breaking, and kept everything inside. This book is for the ones who feel too deeply, overthink at night, and keep going anyway. Hurt Beyond Repair.
Hurt and frightened and no where to turn except for my journal. Curse words being streamed at me and you would have thought I had a father for a sailor. ~E.M.C Many poems focusing on the subject of Mental Illness, that many suffer with and the subject just isn't brought up enough. Poems focusing on a day in the shoes of a person with a mental illness and how some even ordinary simple tasks may seem not so simple to them.
