Josephine Price...fragile, sorrowful, forlorn, melancholy...she's been like this for most of her life, since her dad passed away 12 years ago. She's been scarred by the destruction of life. It seemed almost as if Chronos and nicked her with his sickle and taken away all the time she could've had with her father. Her heart was breaking, the pieces descending, and being plastered back on with Gorilla glue. Her heart only recently sewn whole by a boy named Gale. He sometimes made her feel intoxicated with his presence, but among those times, he ignored her. Not even a simple text or hello for days. She always thought this was love. Minor happiness, distrust, sadness, heartbreak, and if she was lucky, a respectful relationship with sweet, tender kisses and late night talks. She grew up not knowing the difference between love, and attention. All she needed is someone to show her what love really looks & feels like. Someone like...Everett Thorn.

For Sophie and Jack, their love story has always been a whirlwind of passion and heartbreak. Both journalism students at a prestigious university, they share the same drive for uncovering the truth but can't seem to find honesty in their own relationship. Sophie is meticulous and goal-oriented, dreaming of a career as an investigative reporter, while Jack, a free-spirited aspiring columnist, thrives on spontaneity. Their connection is electric, but their opposing personalities lead to frequent clashes, broken promises, and unresolved tension. After a particularly heated argument, Sophie decides she's done. This has to be the last time she lets Jack back into her life. But when they're assigned to work together on a high-stakes exposé for their campus newspaper, their unresolved feelings collide with the pressures of their shared ambition. Can they find a way to work together without falling back into old patterns? Or will this be the story that finally closes the chapter on their relationship for good?
