The Immortal and The Undying

14 parts Ongoing

She has gained a reputation for being the "Undying Adventurer," despite the fact that she absolutely hates it. Each misstep leads her to accidental deaths-whether she's falling off cliffs, getting hit by runaway carts, or skewered by enchanted swords-only to revive an hour later, to her endless frustration. Meanwhile, he has become a jaded royal guard, wishing for the death that never comes. His immortality is both a blessing and a curse, driving him into battles, hoping for one fatal mistake that will never happen. He's grown cold, distant, and sarcastic, completely resigned to his fate as an elf who will never find peace in death. "The Immortal Sentinel." When she's hired as the newest royal guard-mostly because of her strange ability to come back to life-their reunion is anything but normal. The two are thrown together on a mission to protect the kingdom's young, reckless prince, who seems determined to get himself into danger by escaping the palace every now and then to visit brothels, bars, etc. Despite the serious nature of their jobs, their interactions are hilariously offbeat. While she keeps dying and coming back to life, he's constantly exasperated by her carefree attitude towards death. Slowly, their old bond rekindles, with her light-hearted nature gradually pulling him out of his morbid mindset.
