Eccedentasiast (n.) - someone who hides pain behind a smile.

Sherlock Holmes, consulting detective and high-functioning sociopath, has found one. There are too many deductions to be made about Lucille Fitzgerald. She is a literal walking contradiction and Sherlock is completely dumbfounded by her. Even more so than with normal people.

And yet here he is, forced to work side by side with her by Lestrade and thrown into a dark side of crime he has never seen before. 

Maybe he'll never know Lucy's secret. Maybe that's for the best. Maybe Sherlock Holmes should finally learn that ignorance is bliss.
But when has he ever listened to anyone?

With an IQ above average and being a highly-functioning sociopath at best, and a detective partner who happens to be a doctor at his side, Sherlock is on a wild hunt in which the scent gets nearer. . . .
