Kate Stern had it all. She was popular,  had the perfect boyfriend, and beautiful.
Then all of a sudden, the unexpected happens, leaving Kate's once beautiful face scared, and her angry, and confused.
When Kate returns to school, no one sees her as they once did.  They only see her as they do now-- broken.
