This story is taken place after the event of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite and set in alternate Cinos AU series, it set after Cinos: Sonic Force but the thing that change that the Pentanime who appear in the Aftermath did appear. Due to this change, this story is non-canon to the Aftermath series.

Everything about the End of the New Sonic Saga remain the same which includes Cinos being dump by Sticks. After a years of hiding, Infinite return to Eggman about a world that have gems that have affected the Phantom Ruby during their time. Cinos have visited the five worlds which Cinos befriended his new friends.

Eggman and Infinite are now in the Marvel vs. Capcom universe which their sole purpose is to fix Ultron, Sigma, and their loyal Mavericks. As they return, they plan revenge for the rise of the Machine with army of Mavericks and as usual, Baldy McNosehair get backstab and his creation have been taken.

Set in another world. A world where Eggman and Infinite have been taking over cities; left right and centre. Using continuous bombing runs from Eggmans newest robots, each programmed by Infinites crimson cubes. Eggman has sent Infinite on a number of missions to hunt down the resistance, however in this world the resistance is scattered. Scattered throughout the land and deep underground. These underground bunkers are called 'War Cabinets'. The resistance is much larger in this universe although in secrecy, they destroy patrols of robots left right and centre. However a new enemy rises and is far beyond the power of Infinite and shadow combined. How will they defeat him? You'll have to read to find out ^^. In this story. It will cover harsh topics like PTSD and paranoia, along with mentions of suicide. Warning: Gore Sad moments Scenes that could feel realistic Have fun reading. :3

The badniks, the eggforces, the enemies that Sonic and his friends, practically everyone was fighting against from the very beginning, had suddenly took no orders from Eggman, probably because none of his machines even remembers him. With no one to command the machines, the machines all wander around and are forced to adapt to the environment and into the societies that feared and despised them. As this happens, some form of disease breaks out as these strange light cyan pollen like things starts to infest the whole Mobius, making any of the living organisms LITERALLY melt. The ones who are not affected by it are of course, the ones who can regenerate and the /machines/. A society where they are forced to work with the eggforces, or what they used to be to survive through an already melting world...like as if that's possible, right? Disclaimer: Since I am a new writer and new to the Sonic fandom still, I may write some of the characters inaccurately. I will try my best to put as much research into the characters as possible to aim for character accuracy. Due to that reason, do expect some slow updates as I want to give more care of this story as I do with the rest of mine. No ships or any sort of romance would be featured or added here due to me, myself as the writer is not comfortable writing that sort of topic.
