Reminiscence of the 5-Day Regional Teacher Induction Program (TIP) held at Baliuag University, Baliuag, Bulacan

Note: This written work (in its initial state) was originally conceived for Madam Naomi T. Arzadon, CEO, former Assistant Schools Division Superintendent of Division of City Schools, Olongapo City. The short reminiscence however expanded to a full-length autobiographical work which span 5 major parts.

For those who have read the original, this wattpad version has the Chapter numbers subdivided further, (compared to the published version which has 5 contigious chapters), to facitate better reading experience, for the original did indeed contain "long" chapters.

Also note that the footnotes are also removed here, for it will be tedious to add all of them as endnotes, and the latter does not even lend itself well to Wattpad anyway.

My whole life is 'have to.' I have to work full-time to pay the bills and keep food on the table. I have to finish college for a chance at a better job, no matter how long it takes. I have to manage my mom's sobriety so I can keep her out of jail. I have to keep a smile on my face, so no one knows how hard it's been. Now, I have to ignore the curious feelings that flutter in my chest whenever my devastatingly handsome new English professor, Fitzwilliam Benedict, is nearby. Of course, that's kind of impossible because I have to face his storm-tossed eyes and broad shoulders in class every other evening if I want to graduate with my perfect grade-point intact. And it's getting harder to ignore the way his thoughtful gaze sees all the way down to the truth I don't want anyone to know. Our kismet connection is a major complication that could torpedo everything I've worked for...Or this could be the most valuable lesson, ever. 📚🎓 Just a heads up that this isn't fully edited (yet), so you may notice typos or spelling errors! March, 2024 "Spring brings hope of love in a person's life." When I close my eyes, these words still echo in ears. I remember them as if I've heard it yesterday. I never wanted to trust these words, I never wanted to fall for her, I was okay with the way I was, But....she happened. And I don't regret it. It's been two years now, I'm getting back to my routine after 'that' incident and a re-start is never easy. I can't remember myself in what state I was for the past two years. Was I eating right? was I doing fine? Or was I sleeping on time? I don't even remember myself talking to anyone. All I could do was sleep to deny the reality, in a hope, and if it's a dream, it will end soon. With a lot of reluctance, I got up to get ready for the university as they said that getting endulged in work will make me feel better. But how can I grow past those memories when I am getting to the same place where 'it' all had started and ended. When people leave, they leave their living impressions even on lifeless objects, and it's every corner will only remind them of those from which I'm trying to escape. As soon as I entered the university premises, I started getting deep into the trail of old times, when the Batch 2021-22 struck my mind, along with a name that had fluttered my whole life.
