The Duke of Kastor is dead. Gadgeran, the son of the duke, and a well known con artist, barely escapes a similar fate. Upon discovering that his brother is responsible for the death of his father, as well as his own attempted murder, Gadgeran vows to find his brother to either kill him or convince him to leave him alone. In order to do this, he must embark on a journey across his homeland, ravaged by curses set upon it during a war set two hundred years in the past. With the help of Sofia Litello, a curse-fighting knight, and Esnio Benthys, a prince of the nation that all but destroyed his homeland, Gadgeran fights to unravel his brother's ambitions and unfurl the secrets of the world of Myose.
